It’s a busy autumn for the DemandSphere team, and our calendar keeps bringing us to the water’s edge.
Last month, we were on the Pacific for brightonSEO San Diego.
Last week, we gathered in Brighton for more great conversations about AI, search, and the future of visibility…this time with the English Channel as our backdrop.
The next stop was Tokyo, where we connected with the search community along another renowned coastline.
Reflections on Brighton
Last week’s brightonSEO UK was held at the mighty Brighton Centre, right along the city’s iconic seafront. With sweeping views of the Channel and just steps from the bustling promenade, we always love our time here.
Ray had the privilege of presenting, “It’s ALL AI Search: Building a Unified View for Growth,” where he walked the audience through insights from our 10,000-prompt analysis, zooming in on how today’s AI-driven engines actually assemble answers.
Instead of sticking to conventional sources or well-known indexes, AI search taps a diverse mix, sometimes blending data sets in ways even seasoned marketers don’t expect.
The upshot? What happens behind the scenes is far more dynamic than many think, and it’s changing how we need to think about visibility in both classic and AI-first environments.
Perspectives Pushing Search Forward
There’s something special about hearing these conversations play out in rooms full of people who genuinely care about where our industry is headed.
From the conference rooms to the pubs, it was a pleasure to listen, learn, and trade ideas with so many insightful voices at this event. You can tell Denny agrees…

After attending brightonSEO UK, it’s never been more clear that we’ve entered a pivotal moment for our industry.
Search is no longer just about rankings or keywords; it’s about understanding how AI is reshaping the pathways to discovery, engagement, and trust.
What stood out most in Brighton is the incredible range of perspectives from practitioners, technologists, and strategists who are all asking new questions about how to earn visibility in an AI-first landscape.
At DemandSphere, we’re continuing to bring those threads together through an integrated approach to AI + search — connecting insights across traditional SERPs, AI overviews, and emerging LLM ecosystems. The mission remains the same: help teams see their data in context and act on it intelligently.
FOUND in Tokyo

Then, we were back along the Pacific coastline, but this time it was Tokyo.
Excited to be back at FOUND Conference Oct 28–29, where we continued the conversation about AI-driven content, visibility, and growth across international markets.
We hosted the event at the beautiful Otemachi Mitsui Hall and had several hundred guests.
Speakers included Rand Fishkin, Lily Ray, Mike King, Elias Dabbas, Noah Learner, and more. Needless to say, this promises to be a fantastic event.
What’s Ahead?
In my next post, I’ll share FOUND Conference insights and slides from Ray’s presentation, “The Index Is the Prize: Building the Data Stack for AI Search.”
Plus, you’ll learn where we’re going next as our busy season rolls on.
Stay tuned!
[P.S. Couldn’t make this week’s FOUND Conference? Join us for the next FOUND Meetup. We host them whenever we’re in Tokyo (at least quarterly), so be sure to check out our site and subscribe to our email list and social channels for announcements.]
