This Content Policy governs content that you create, upload, submit, store, or generate through the DemandSphere Services, including content produced with AI-assisted features. It is referenced by and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

This policy applies to you and to every Authorized User under your subscription. You are responsible for the acts and omissions of your Authorized Users under this policy.

1. Your content, your responsibility

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Services. You are responsible for that content, for the content generated at your direction using AI-assisted features, and for the use you make of either.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content you provide, and that your content and your use of it do not infringe the rights of any third party or violate any applicable law.

DemandSphere does not review content before it is created, generated, or published, and does not endorse it.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Services to create, generate, store, or distribute content that:

  • infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights;
  • is defamatory, libelous, or knowingly false about an identifiable person or organization;
  • harasses, threatens, or promotes violence against, or incites hatred toward, any person or group;
  • is sexually explicit, or depicts or sexualizes minors in any way;
  • promotes or facilitates illegal activity, including fraud, malware distribution, or unauthorized access to systems;
  • impersonates a person or organization, or misrepresents your affiliation with one;
  • constitutes spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or content created primarily to manipulate search or AI ranking systems through deception;
  • contains personal data you are not authorized to process, or special categories of personal data;
  • violates the acceptable use or content policies of any third-party platform on which you publish it.

3. AI-assisted content

Some Services generate or assist in generating content using AI models. The following applies whenever you use those features.

Accuracy and verification. AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, including where it appears confident and specific. Output is advisory. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before you rely on it, publish it, or share it externally. Do not treat generated statements of fact, statistics, citations, quotations, or attributions as verified.

Originality. AI models can produce output that resembles existing material. DemandSphere does not represent that AI-generated output is original or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for checking generated content for originality and clearance before publication.

Content about real people and organizations. The Services are used for competitive and market analysis, and AI-assisted features can generate content that names real companies, products, and individuals. Content that makes factual assertions about an identifiable person or organization must be verified before publication. You may not use the Services to generate or distribute content that disparages a competitor through statements you have not verified, or that presents generated claims about a third party as established fact.

Disclosure. Where you publish AI-generated or AI-assisted content, you are responsible for any disclosure or labeling required by applicable law or by the platform on which you publish. DemandSphere does not apply those labels on your behalf.

Automated volume. You may not use AI-assisted features to generate content at a volume or in a pattern intended to overwhelm, manipulate, or degrade any third-party platform, search engine, or AI system.

4. Third-party model providers

AI-assisted features are delivered in part through third-party model providers, which are listed on our Approved Sub-Processors page. Those providers maintain their own usage policies governing the content that may be generated through their models.

Your use of AI-assisted features is subject to those provider policies in addition to this one. Where a provider policy is more restrictive than this policy, the more restrictive terms apply. Content that would breach a provider policy is prohibited under this policy, whether or not it appears in the list in Section 2.

AI-assisted features operate on publicly available search and web data to generate analysis and recommendations. Customer data is not sent to a model provider without your permission.

AI-assisted features are optional and are not enabled by default. Where you do not enable them, this Section 4 does not apply to your use of the Services.

5. Enforcement

Where we become aware of content or conduct that breaches this policy, we may remove or disable access to the content, suspend the Authorized User responsible, or suspend or terminate the account, depending on the severity and whether the breach is repeated.

We will use reasonable efforts to notify you before acting, and to limit any action to what is necessary to address the breach. We may act without prior notice where the breach is unlawful, where it exposes DemandSphere or a third party to immediate harm or liability, or where a model provider or other third party requires it.

Suspension or termination under this policy does not entitle you to a refund, except as provided in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. Reporting a concern

To report content you believe breaches this policy, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail to identify the content. To report a suspected security vulnerability, use [email protected] instead.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services change, as model provider policies change, or as required by law. Material changes will be notified in accordance with the Terms of Service. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
