Ginzametrics Pricing Updates Focusing on Our Strengths

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been almost a year since we first launched Ginzametrics in private beta. We’ve been out of private beta for almost eight months now (although we’re still improving all the time). We’ve gone from a team of one to almost ten and we’ve learned a ton about what our customers need and how we can help them achieve their goals.

What We’ve Learned

One of the key things we figured out over this last year is that there are many different types of people doing SEO. There are people who run their own businesses or growing companies and are just learning about the basics of SEO. The primary need is to learn about SEO. The primary need of the many individual consultants, small and large agencies out there is to automate reporting and scale their businesses. Quickly growing companies need better tools to help them understand their content and beat their competitors. Large brands, ecommerce companies and publishers need to scale across dozens or hundreds of different sites all around the world.
Our old plans were designed to provide access at a variety of different pricing levels to all of the different types of businesses. What we realized, however, is that Ginzametrics is a platform better suited towards companies who already have a basic understanding of SEO and need powerful tools to grow. There are many good resources (and some decent tools) available already for beginners at SEO to help them get up to speed, so we’ve decided to not focus our paid tools on this group. Instead, we want to be the platform for growing companies on the web.
Incidentally, this is where we’ve had the most traction and where our customers tend to appreciate us the most. So, in order to help us better serve this segment and continue to grow, we are going to drop our Starter ($19/month) and Basic ($49) plans. We may bring them (or something similar) back at some point in the future, but in the meantime, we have some great things planned for even better free tools and more content to help those companies who are still getting their feet wet with online marketing.
Our existing paid plans, Pro ($199/month), Agency ($599/month) and Enterprise ($2,500+/month), will stay the same for now. We’re going to be adding more great benefits to these plans as well, over the coming months.

What Happens to Existing Customers?

We’re not raising prices on anyone. If you are an existing customer on any one of our plans, including Starter and Basic, you can continue to use this plans, forever. We’re not going to raise prices on you or force you to upgrade.

What Happens to New Customers?

New customers or existing users on our free plan will be able to sign up for one of our three paid plans, Pro, Agency or Enterprise. Our goal is to make the choice easier for customers to choose a plan that makes sense for them, without overwhelming them with too many options.

Feedback?

We’re always open to feedback and would love to hear from you. Please email us at support@ginzametrics.com or leave a comment below if you have any questions or concerns. As always, if you are one of our awesome customers, thanks so much!
